Christmas Came, and then we got sick...

Well, Christmas came and it was a great time with Family and remembering the birth of our Savior. We also did the secular things as well, and Emily was just in tranced with Santa Claus when he came on Christmas Eve to the annual family party.



Emily had a great time on Christmas morning as she had to open up every present, even if they weren't for her. We even caught her trying to steal a few presents for herself...



Rebekah had a great time as well, even if she couldn't open her own presents. Emily helped her open and then showed her how to play with her presents.

Then the day after Christmas we got sick. What a great way to spend a vacation day from work...

It's almost Christmas!

We're getting ready for Christmas.

Emily just loves the tree, we sometimes have a hard time keeping her out of it. Since it is real, needles are getting everywhere when she plays with it. She really enjoys wrapping presents and putting them under the tree. She even tried to wrap herself!

Rebekah's Blessing Day

Rebekah's Blessing day was December 16, 2007.

Rebekah Margaret was so beautiful on her blessing day. We named her after her Great Grandmother Lois Margaret Milligan since they share a birthday. Great Grandma is so proud. Great Grandma also crocheted the dress Rebekah wore.

Emily was so excited to have so many of her aunts and uncles and cousins here to play with. She really does love being a big sister.

We are so excited to have Rebekah in our family, she is such a joy!

The First Snow of the Season

Well, we finally got some snow after a very dry fall, so Emily wanted to go out and play in it.

Doesn't she look adorable in her new snowsuit? We bought it last year and she just barely fits into it this year.

Emily learned how to make a snow angel and absolutely loved being an angel/butterfly to make it. She did pretty good! Until she got some snow in her face and then this is what happened:

Oh, well, she had fun while it lasted, and the snow angel looks pretty good!

We tried to get Rebekah out (wrapped up in Mommy's coat of course) but just as Robin was ready to come out, Emily was done with the snow. We'll have to get her out later on. Emily was pretty sad that we couldn't make a snowman, the snow is too powdery, maybe next time.

Just Hanging Out

We thought we would try out this whole blog thing and show off some pictures of our cute girls. Luckily they are both sleeping right now, so things are quiet.

Emily is doing really well with Rebekah as she loves to comfort her when she cries and to help Mommy and Daddy with the diaper changes. Now we just have to work on getting her to stop bouncing the bouncer with Rebekah in it.
